The Aquarium

This week was Spring Break for Andrew's preschool. On Tuesday we went downtown to the Aquarium and The Varsity. It was our first trip to the Georgia Aquarium, and we all had a lot of fun. Once again, the camera got left in the car at The Varsity, so we still don't have Jonathan's picture in a Varsity hat. Maybe next time we'll get it!

This was the first big tank we came to. They were astounded. You'll notice Coleman is pointing to everything he sees in the next few pictures. He was absolutely speechless for a while. I think he could not believe what he was seeing. There was also a scuba diver in this tank. He gave Andrew a thumbs up, which Andrew returned. He smiled so big telling us about it.

Too much to see to waste time looking at the camera!

the biggest sting ray I have ever seen

There is a tunnel you can walk through also. It was fascinating. Coleman wasn't too sure about it, and Andrew was more interested in riding the moving sidewalk.

Every window we came to, they stopped and wanted to climb in. Didn't matter that it was the very same tank we had just seen.

This was in the room with a huge window to the big tank. Our yahoos are standing in front taking it all in.

There were lots of touch pools too. Brent and Coleman are trying to touch a sting ray. Cole's arms were a little too short to reach, but Andrew touched several. Brent even touched a shark.

Easter

Our Easter was very laid back this year. We got up, ate breakfast, dressed and went to church. When we got home the boys did their Easter baskets and then played outside until lunch was ready. We didn't attempt a family of five pic this time. The best picture of the three yahoos together is on Sunday's post. Here are the rest of the pictures that turned out well enough to post.

This is going to be one of my all time favorite pictures of Coleman Joe.

And this one of Andrew.

getting their Easter baskets - I was able to find Jonathan one like his brothers' on ebay!

I love how Andrew is showing Jonathan whatever it is they're looking at, and how interested Jonathan looks!

The yahoos got bubble guns in their baskets. Here they are playing with them before lunch. Our neighbor came over to play for a few minutes too.

Fun at Nana and Pop-O's

Saturday we went to Nana and Pop-O's for a family Easter celebration. Uncle Chris and Aunt Margie and the cousins were there too. We hadn't seen them since July, and they hadn't met Jonathan, so it was a fun day. Granny and Grandaddy were able to come for part of the day too. There are a lot of pictures so consider yourself warned. ;)

We took a yummy picnic to the park for lunch.

Nana ordered cupcakes from Publix. They were a big hit with the yahoos.

It was pretty windy under the shelter. You can see some potato chips blew into Jonathan's seat.

Then we walked down to the train and the playground.

After a nap at home, we had an egg hunt in the backyard. I have no idea what Andrew is making such a crazy face about.

This was only Coleman's second egg hunt, but he did really well.

Lily and Amelia both really liked baby Jonathan.

While we waited for the pizza to arrive, we just played outside. Everyone had brought bikes, trikes, and other yard toys. They had a blast!
After all that activity, we found them "relaxing" in the chairs in the garage.
It took about two minutes for our boys to fall asleep that night. Nana said it took her less time than that! Such fun!!
