Summer 2013

Last year we started a fun tradition - the Summer Fun List!  At the beginning of June, I told the boys to give me their ideas for fun things to do during our summer break.  Then, I took those ideas, added a few and hung up a list for us to check off when we did fun things.  I added a bunch to their ideas, and they were so excited listening to Andrew read the list out loud the first morning it was up.

This was National Donut Day.

Jonathan did a music camp with Mrs. Pam.

Andrew had his second broken bone.

 We went bowling.

We added two pets.  Phineas and Ferb are dwarf robo hamsters and have not been quite as kid friendly as I had hoped.  They are really too small to take out of their cages.  But it was very exciting when we got them and the boys have fun watching them when they are awake during the day.

Our strawberry picking was a bust, but we found a treasure trove of blueberries about two minutes from the house!  We went several times and can't wait to go back this summer!

Coleman took art camp classes with sweet Ms. Georgia.  We were all amazed at his paintings each week!

Gatorade break with Daddy while working in the yard.

We made snow cones.

And went to a splash park.

We went to the dollar movie.

And saw our cousins from Tennessee!

Lots more summer fun to come!
