Breakfast Routines

When Jonathan wakes up, he acts as though he hasn't eaten in a week. We get him his sippy cup as fast as we can, and then sit in the chair in the living room while he drinks it. Then, he gets a fresh diaper and it's into his highchair to eat his breakfast. While his grits cook, he sits in his seat and reads the paper while he munches on Cheerios. He likes to stay up on the latest Weekly Reader news.
