Archer Family Christmas

So I am once again behind on holiday blogging. The Saturday before Christmas, Brent's parents and grandparents came for our Christmas celebration with them. We ate a yummy bar-b-que lunch and exchanged gifts. This was the first time Granny and Grandaddy met Jonathan. They weren't able to come for his birth, so we were all very excited for them to meet their newest great-grandson.

Andrew was very excited about a Lightning McQueen car he received.

Coleman opened a book about bulldozers and went straight to Grandaddy for him to read it.

Nana and Pop-O gave the boys cowboy outfits this year. I don't know if you have noticed in past posts, but pretending is a big thing around here. They both loved their new cowboy hats and stick ponies. They both took off immediately gallopping around the house.

Jonathan and Grandaddy had a sweet snuggly time while we opened gifts.

The pictures from our family photo shoot were a big hit.

After nap, the boys had another gift from Nana and Pop-O to enjoy. They were super excited to get to drive it around the driveway. We had no idea how they would do with steering and coordinating their feet on the gas, but Andrew drove like a pro! He zoomed all over the place and didn't run into anything.
Coleman did some driving too, but soon decided it was too cold outside, or too loud and wanted to come back inside.

I think Andrew would have driven it until bedtime if we'd let him. When he finished and it was time to come in, he drove it right in the garage beside my car and parked it perfectly.

More Christmas postings to come. . .
