Well, here goes our attempt at a family blog. I've faithfully followed other blogs over the years, and have decided we should finally take the plunge and have our own. I think what got me to go ahead and start our blog, was the idea that people do this instead of scrapbooking. I love to look at scrapbooks, but the creativity and time required to make those things is intimidating. Plus, if we had a home disaster, all that work would be lost forever. This way, everything is recorded permanently where fire, flood, tornado and little hands cannot wreak havoc. We have lots of big things coming up the next few months, so this seemed like a good way to record our family happenings. Even if no one else (except the grands) reads it, I'll at least have documented the events for myself.
So the title. In Psalm 127, Solomon wrote "3 Behold, children are a hertiage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4Like arrows in the hands of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth.. 5Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them." So the title is pretty much my job description. Quiver Manager. And this will be the space where I document my managing activities.
So who is it I manage? Just the two cutest little boys God ever thought about making. Andrew is 3 and Coleman is 18 months. They are two of the best rewards we have ever been given. Is our quiver full? Only God knows. If He decides to add anything, or anyone I should say, we'll let you know. Guess that's a pretty good reason to check back in from time to time.
