The boys painted pumpkins again this year. Andrew painted his in his co-op class, so he didn't want to paint another one at home. (Art is not his favorite subject.) Coleman and Jonathan were super excited when I asked them if they wanted to do some painting. This was my first time to paint with Jon Jon, but he is apparently an old pro. He knew exactly what to do and was very specific about the colors he wanted to use.
These two take their art very seriously.
Here they are with their finished pumpkins. Andrew painted his black one in co-op class. They also disguised a pumpkin at co-op one day. He decided to turn his pumpkin into a turkey.
Coleman decided to turn his blue pumpkin into a "spiky blue monster" after he saw Andrew's turkey pumpkin. He made the bat pumpkin at preschool. And you can see he disguised himself for the picture.
And here is Jon Jon with his sweet little green pumpkin, or "punkin" as he calls it.
They also did a jack-o-lantern this year. Brent enlisted the help of the two bigger yahoos in scooping the goop this year.
And when it was all lit up, only Coleman wanted his picture made with it. Could it be that our biggest boy is outgrowing this already?
